Claims, convictions and no-claims history can remain relevant when changing provider even if the telematics number itself is left behind. Keep any driving reports you find useful, but do not expect a new insurer to price from a competitor’s app score.
Telematics scores are usually proprietary
One insurer may label you an excellent driver while another uses different measurements and weightings. There is no universal black-box score equivalent to a credit score that automatically follows you between companies.
